Equipped with a burning passion for metal music the Worship Cult are a red hot melting pot of decades of metal influence! Their unique Schizophrenic Death Metal style brings a signature combination of dynamic brutal vocal hooks, rich bass, ferocious speed and enduring riffs that bring a sound described as “the melody that holds the chaos together”. With over 60 shows under their belts since they hit the stage in 2022 until now, including national tours and weekenders, this melo-chaotic act has spanned the UK from Brighton on the south Coast all the way up to Whitehaven in the north and all the cities in between. 5 piece metal band from Sheffield bringing together a mixture of Post, Shoegaze and black metal as well as bits and pieces of other styles blended together into a rich soup of heavy and atmospheric sounds. IL formed in late 2018 shortly after which they played their first show at the 2019 Metal 2 The Masses making it as far as the finals. 5 years later and after many shows in Sheffield and other places around the North of England, they entered and won 2024 M2TM, culminating with them playing the New Blood Stage at BloodStock Open air. They plan to play as many shows as possible as far and wide as possible.
